So, I was putting on my shoes this morning and Jackson was wrassling with me...(playing in my hair, jumping on me, etc). Wrigley didn't like that... and came to my defense. He thought that was not good for him to be doing that. So, he started barking and nipping on Jackson's ear to get him away. It was terribly cute!!!
They have been good about playing together. Wrigley looks to us when he thinks he might be too aggressive with Jackson. I think they are going to be good friends. Today while I was drying my hair, they both layed down on the tile floor facing each other and just looked at each other.
Mr. Jackson has some issues though. Dax took him to the vet last night. And, unlike the lady told us when we got him, he hasn't had his shots. He has worms and a doggy form of scoriasis. He hasn't had any of his shots, so he had those yesterday. He was a little worn out last night. I took him to the dog park and made him walk home.
We are going to get his nuts snipped next week. Which I thought was a little early, but the vet says they have dropped and the sooner the better as that will curb some aggression and keep him from going through the humpy phase. Not looking forward to that. Keeping himself and Wrigley away from the wound will be interesting.
But, all in all. We are thrilled to have Jackson. It is like we just had a baby... and our family is growing. Sounds pathetic... but that is how we feel.
